O volume de serviços na Paraíba registrou redução de 0,1%, em fevereiro, frente a janeiro, segundo a Pesquisa Mensal de Serviços (PMS), divulgada pelo IBGE, nesta quinta-feira (27).
O recuo foi o 2º consecutivo para o indicador estadual, que já havia apresentado queda de 4,5%, em janeiro, em comparação com dezembro. Além disso, contrasta com a alta de 1,1% verificada na média nacional.
A receita paraibana nominal de serviços também teve queda, de 0,3%, na comparação entre o segundo e o primeiro mês deste ano. Na média brasileira, porém, houve aumento de 2% nesse índice.
Por outro lado, ao avaliar os resultados de fevereiro deste ano diante do mesmo mês de 2022, a pesquisa identificou crescimento de 12,3% no volume de serviços do estado, a 2ª maior variação do país, atrás apenas do Mato Grosso (13,1%).
A receita nominal paraibana também teve alta, de 18,5%, que, junto ao Paraná (18,5%), foi a maior entre todas as unidades da federação. Ambos os índices ficaram acima das médias gerais, de 5,4% e 11,8%, respectivamente.
No acumulado dosúltimos 12 meses, quando comparados com o período anterior de 12 meses, as variações também foram positivas e ficaram entre as cinco maiores do país, tanto no volume de serviços (13,5%), como na receita nominal (23,2%). Já as médias brasileiras nesses indicadores foram, respectivamente, de 7,8% e 15,2%.
