A prefeitura de Quixaba, no Sertão da Paraíba cancelou nesta terça-feira (4) dois eventos que seriam realizados em agosto no centro da cidade. Em nota, a gestão alegou que o município está em calamidade pública devido a estiagem.
Um dos eventos é o ‘Quixabrega’, que teria shows de Roberta Miranda e Zezo Potiguar. Já o ‘Quixagospel’, a principal atração era o cantor Davi Sacer.
Em nota publicada nas redes sociais, a prefeitura destacou que a medida também leva em conta uma alerta do Procurador Geral do Ministério Público de Contas, Bradson Camelo.
De acordo com a prefeita Cláudia Macário, tal alerta cita que “os municípios que decretam situação de emergência ou estado de calamidade pública não poderem realizar festividades durante esse período”.
