A Polícia Civil da Paraíba apreendeu nessa sexta-feira, 14 de abril, uma adolescente de 16 anos de idade que usou um perfil falso em uma rede social para divulgar ataques a escolas no município de Arara. A investigação é da 21ª Delegacia Seccional de Polícia Civil, sediada em Solânea.
A disseminação das ameaçadas causou medo à população, mas não passou de mais uma fake news. A própria adolescente disse na delegacia que queria apenas amedrontar as pessoas e não sabia que isso geraria tanta repercussão.
De acordo com o delegado seccional Diógenes Fernandes, apesar de a Polícia Civil saber que a maioria desses casos são mentiras propagadas na internet, a instituição está atenta a essas publicações.
“Estamos investigando cada postagem desse tipo que surja em nosso estado, identificando e prendendo os responsáveis. Neste caso mesmo, além de a adolescente ter sido apreendida, o seu aparelho celular também foi recolhido e será minuciosamente analisado, para sabermos se ela tem participação em outras publicações falsas. Essa é a determinação da Delegacia-Geral e assim tem sido feito por toda a Paraíba”, disse Diógenes.
