Novo programa do governo oferece bolsas de doutorado para mulheres

Um programa, lançado nesta quinta-feira e liderado pelo Ministério da Igualdade Racial, vai oferecer bolsas de doutorado e pós-doutorado no exterior para mulheres negras, quilombolas, indígenas e ciganas: é o Programa Atlânticas.

O valor investido pelo governo será de R$ 8 milhões. Para concorrer ao benefício, elas precisam estar matriculadas em algum curso de doutorado reconhecido pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior do Ministério da Educação (Capes).

No caso do doutorado, ele será na modalidade sanduíche; ou seja, parte aqui no Brasil e parte no exterior.

Segundo dados da pasta, menos de 5% das bolsas desse tipo são recebidas por mulheres negras, enquanto as mulheres brancas têm 30%

Já no caso do pós-doutorado no exterior, 12% de bolsistas negras contra 38% brancas. Em nenhum dos dois casos há mulheres indígenas.
