Com o tema “Quebre o silêncio”, a terceira edição da Marcha das Vadias em São Paulo percorreu neste sábado (25) a Avenida Paulista e a Rua Augusta em direção à Praça Roosevelt. O grupo se concentrou na Praça do Ciclista, onde foram preparados cartazes, stencil e pinturas corporais.
De acordo com os organizadores, a Marcha das Vadias “é uma resposta à ideia de que mulheres são culpadas pela violência que sofrem”.
Por volta das 15h20, o protesto chegou à Praça Roosevelt. No local, parte do grupo se reuniu em uma roda para dar testemunhos de agressões sofridas por mulheres. Em outro ponto da praça, mulheres fizeram batucada com instrumentos improvisados.
De acordo com a Polícia Militar, a manifestação chegou a reunir 1,5 mil pessoas. Durante a passeata, o grupo gritou palavras de ordem contra machismo, homofobia e pelos direitos humanos. O grupo aproveitou para afirmar que é contra o pastor e deputado federal Marco Feliciano (PSC-SP), presidente da Comissão de Direitos Humanos da Câmara. “Sou mulher, sou gay, sou preta. Feliciano não me representa.”
A mobilização atraiu a atenção de curiosos e despertou simpatia em quem passava pela região da Avenida Paulista. A designer Fabiana Caruso parabenizou o movimento, que, para ela, deveria acontecer com maior frequência. “É importante trazer o assunto para a rua. É um absurdo alguém achar que a mulher provoca o estupro”, disse. Ela ainda destaca outras questões. “O aborto também precisa ser discutido, como está acontecendo”, completou.
A manifestante Júlia, que não quis da sobrenome e não se deixou ser fotografada, estava com o seu filho participando da manifestação. Ela vestia apenas o lenço que usava para carregar o bebê. “Eu acho importante lutar por liberdade. Trazer meu filho desde pequeno é importante para ele entender desde já a questão da autonomia das mulheres”, disse.
Violência contra a mulher em SP
O estupro é um crime que vem crescendo nos últimos meses em São Paulo. De acordo com dados sobre os índices de criminalidade divulgados pela Secretaria de Segurança Pública, no mês de março foram registrados 311 casos na capital paulista. O número é 8,36% superior aos casos registrados no mês anterior, em fevereiro, que teve 287 ocorrências.
A SSP também aponta aumento de casos de estupro registrados no estado de São Paulo. Em março deste ano foram 1.161 casos contra 1.057 em fevereiro, uma alta de 9,84%.

Origem do protesto
O protesto contrário ao machismo que teve origem no Canadá e se espalhou pelo mundo. Conhecido como ‘SlutWalk’, ele é realizado neste sábado em diversas cidades do Brasil. O movimento ‘SlutWalk’ começou em Toronto, no Canadá, quando alunos de uma universidade resolveram protestar depois que um policial sugeriu que as estudantes do sexo feminino deveriam evitar se vestir como “vagabundas” para não serem vítimas de abuso sexual ou estupro.
A primeira marcha reuniu cerca de 3 mil participantes vestidas de forma provocativa ou comportada para chamar a atenção para a cultura de responsabilizar as vítimas de estupro. Foi o estopim para que outros eventos semelhantes se espalhassem por várias cidades dos Estados Unidos e Europa.
