O Fundo de Amparo ao trabalhador (FAT) que fornece recursos para pagar o seguro desemprego e o abono salarial dos brasileiros voltará ao vermelho em 2023 após dois anos de resultados positivos. É o que afirma matéria do Jornal Folha de São Paulo publicada neste sábado (22).
Segundo a Folha, com base em dados de técnico do Governo, o FAT precisaria de R$ 5,1 bilhões extra para evitar o buraco e poder cobrir as obrigações já existentes. O problema será agravado com a intenção da atual gestão de destinar até R$ 4,6 bilhões para novos programas como a qualificação profissional
Esse programa teve em 2022, investimentos de R$ 19 milhões. Esse valor irá a R$ 136 milhões em 2023, R$ 2 bilhões em 2024, R$ 3 bilhões em 2025 e R$ 4,6 bilhões em 2026.
Além disso, as despesas do FAT é pressionada pelo aumento do salário mínimo. Calcula-se que a cada R$ 1 concedido ao trabalhador aumenta em R$ 33,4 milhões no seguro desemprego.
Uma solução estudada pelo Ministério do Trabalho para conseguir mais recursos seria elevar o uso de recursos arrecadados com o PIS/PASEP que abastecem o FAT.
Em análise encaminhada ao Congresso este mês, a estimativa é que as receitas cresçam R$ 7,94% até 2026. Entretanto, o déficit acumulado no período pode chegar a R$ 13,1 bilhões.
