A Comissão do Desenvolvimento, Turismo e Meio Ambiente da Assembleia Legislativa da Paraíba (ALPB) incluiu no Calendário Oficial de Eventos Turísticos do Estado os eventos tradicionais eventos religiosos das cidades de Caraúbas, Puxinanã e Livramento.
Os membros da Comissão, presidida pelo deputado Eduardo Carneiro, avaliaram que a Festa de São Pedro, em Caraúbas; a Festa de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, em Puxinanã; e a Festa de Nossa Senhora do Livramento, em Livramento; contribuem com a economia, gerando emprego e renda não apenas para os respectivos municípios, mas também para o estado.
Os projetos foram apresentados pelo presidente da Assembleia, deputado Adriano Galdino. “Estes eventos estimulam o turismo local, a cultura e a economia local”, declarou o relator das matérias o deputado Michel Henrique.
Adriano Galdino ressalta que durante a realização desses tradicionais festejos, amplia-se a movimentação de pessoas nos municípios, vindas, principalmente, de outras regiões do Estado, o que colabora para a geração e circulação da economia das cidades.
“Por suas dimensões e importâncias religiosas e culturais para o Estado da Paraíba, tornam-se necessárias as inserções destas datas no Calendário Oficial de Eventos do Estado da Paraíba, a fim de que se dê a atenção necessária a essas expressões religiosas e culturais, promovendo o desenvolvimento para os municípios e para a Paraíba”, argumentou Galdino.
