Os estudantes da Universidade Federal da Paraíba realizarão, nesta segunda-feira (10), exigindo o reajuste das bolsas de pesquisa da UFPB. O ato acontecerá na Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa da instituição (PROPESQ), às 8h30min.
Em fevereiro deste ano, o Governo Federal anunciou o reajuste das bolsas de graduação. Na UFPB, no entanto, quando as bolsas foram pagas nos dias 09 e 10 de março, o reajuste não aconteceu. O protesto, portanto, visa exigir que o reajuste das bolsas de pesquisa aconteça na Universidade.
Além disso, está sendo pautada uma paridade de bolsas de ensino, pesquisa e extensão. Os estudantes também alegam não haver transparência por parte da instituição acerca das atualizações de dados sobre questões orçamentárias ou do quantitativo de estudantes contemplados com bolsas PIBIC desde 2020/2021.
Aestudante e Conselheira do Conselho de Ensino Pesquisa e Extensão da UFPB, Giovanna Ignowsky, entrou em contato com a PROPESQ e os funcionários informaram que:
1. Não tinham notícia nenhuma sobre o que estava acontecendo e o porquê de o reajuste não ter sido feito;
2. Não sabem para onde foi destinado o repasse que o Governo Federal já realizou à Universidade para o cumprimento do reajuste das bolsas.
No dia 10 de março, a UFPB publicou uma nota afirmando que o aumento dos valores das bolsas de CNPq e CAPES em razão de não haver previsão orçamentária. Contudo, apesar deste informe, a Universidade não promove uma transparência
acerca dessa questão do orçamento.
A comunidade estudantil, organizada para conquistar o reajuste dos valores da bolsa, publicou uma nota aberta à PROPESQ acerca da falta de transparência. Confira a nota clicando aqui.
Além disso, foi protocolado, no dia 06 de abril, um processo para que o reajuste seja pautado no Conselho de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão da Universidade, que está previsto para o dia 25 deste mês. Até o envio deste release, a Universidade ainda não deu nenhum retorno.
